Last year was especially hard on the outside, this year is especially hard in my head. I’ve had a difficult time finding what makes me happy lately. I hate feeling this way. I made a few appointments which is the first and biggest step. The next step is to make a few promises to myself. A kind of fake it til you make it kind of process.
Here’s my first one.
I promise to laugh at myself more.

Does your family get crazy when everyone gets together or is it easy and fun? Or both?! Extended family sessions are a blast when grandparents are the center, and grandmas looooove when all their children and grandchildren are in the same place at the same time! So much love to go around!

New minis are open for booking! We’ll be at Mima Mounds in Olympia to try and catch wildflowers at the unique nature preserve. It’s such a beautiful place for an evening session. I hope you’ll join me. 🌸

This is what I’m talking about! Do you see the flood of love and affection and connection? Mmm… guys, I’m telling you. These little boys were ALL over the place during our session, but you don’t see that. You won’t remember that. You’ll remember holding your partner’s hand as you follow your kids to the “ancient dinosaur eggs” (aka giant rocks) in the water, you’ll remember the sandy hugs and snuggles, finding the perfect orange rock, and spotting pirate ships off Titlow Beach. When you get playful, you’re creating core memories. I’m creating art that you can hang on your wall.
