I was supposed to photograph Ally and Joe’s wedding today at a gorgeous barn in Issaquah. But as we all know, COVID-19 has put a halt to all gatherings. Instead, they’re having a small (SAFE) ceremony in Spokane. I wish I could be there to document this part of their adventure, but safety first!

We did Ally and Joe’s engagement photos last November in the Georgetown neighborhood just south of Downtown Seattle. They brewery hopped for their first date so we revisited some of those same meaningful spots. Georgetown is really a unique area. I love the murals, brick buildings, and character. We lucked out with a beautiful sunset too.

I can’t wait to continue their story. Joe and Ally intend on having a huge celebration in 2021 on their one year anniversary at the same gorgeous barn and I will definitely be there to cheers some beers with them! Oh, and to photograph the festivities. 🙂

I feel so bad for the couples who planned their spring/summer weddings to have them canceled or postponed and to have to plan everything all over again. I hope rearranging vendors and locations is easy for everyone!
